Our client is an ambitious and dynamic company active in metal constructions.
To expand their team, they are currently looking for an assistant technician metal structures on construction sites.

What does your job look like?

As an assistant technician you are responsible for assembling and placing metal constructions on site.
This ranges from canopies (e.g. for gas stations) to steel structures of buildings, stairs, fences, etc...

You always start from the workshop. Sporadically you will also work on site in the workshop.

Jouw profiel

Our perfect candidate?

• You have a first experience in the assembly of various (heavy) metal constructions
• Experience with welding (semi-automatic) is a plus
• You can read plans
• As we often work at height, you are not afraid of heights
• We consider safety of paramount importance; ideally you should have a VCA certificate or be prepared to obtain one soon
• You are fluent in Dutch OR English
• You are in possession of your own transport and can easily travel to the Zelzate-Ghent-Zeehaven region

• Een bewerking uitvoeren: Schuren, polijsten
• Een bewerking uitvoeren: Uitvlakken, vijlen
• Werkstukken voorbereiden of in elkaar zetten: Zware draagconstructies
• Werkstukken voorbereiden of in elkaar zetten: Hulpdraagconstructies
• Structuurelementen, las- en assemblagepunten, ... plaatsen en markeren
