With around ⚠,⚠ employees, the Central Information Technology department supports the entire Bundesbank in its many tasks, e.g. in the form of support for numerous applications in the field of securities management, which are made available to all core business areas of the Bundesbank

Work of particular value: your work with us

• As a member of our team, you will support and coordinate the technical development of the business-critical Online Banking System (OBS) application
• You will take over the lifecycle management of the application in the Unix and Windows environment and ensure system integration into the existing infrastructure
• In addition, you will design and maintain a large number of interfaces to other applications with different technical characteristics
• You will work closely with the specialist department, internal IT departments and external partner companies
• You create technical concepts and support their implementation
• You will also analyze faults and error messages in last-level support, which you will rectify or delegate to other support units
• Alternating with your colleagues in the team, you will be on call and occasionally on weekends and public holidays

Special values: Your qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in (business) informatics or equivalent educational qualification or comparable knowledge from many years of professional experience
• Good knowledge and at least two years' experience in IT system integration and software system support
• Knowledge of and experience with UNIX or LINUX and Windows Server operating systems
• Knowledge of relational databases (preferably Oracle) and SQL
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. shell scripting or Python) is an advantage
• Willingness and health suitability to work under special time requirements (regular, remunerated on-call duty outside regular working hours)
• High degree of independence and commitment, ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility as well as service and customer orientation
• Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
