As an Asian cuisine chef you have an important role within our company. You develop and prepare Asian dishes and you also ensure the continuity and guarantee of our original authentic recipes. We are looking for Asian cuisine chefs who understand the art of authentically developing and preparing Asian dishes and the associated techniques. Flexibility and courage to introduce new methods, techniques and recipes to us is what we expect from you as a Chef of Asian cuisine. Within our kitchens there is plenty of room to use your talents and share them with us. We also give you the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of other Asian cuisines and of our existing recipes and preparation methods.

JOB DUTIES

Ø Developing, preparing and improving authentic Asian meals and their preparation techniques independently and in a team;

Ø Gaining knowledge and experience of our current recipes;

Ø Carrying out the preparatory and preparation work such as washing, cutting, weighing, marinating, mixing, cooking, stir-frying and etc.;

Ø Assessing the ingredients for freshness, taste and shelf life;

Ø Ensuring and improving restaurant quality in the field of

Ø food safety, the taste of the different dishes and our working methods:

Ø Transferring your knowledge and experiences to other chefs and other departments within our company;

Ø Cleaning and maintaining the working environment, kitchen equipment, etc.

NB: During the application procedure there may be an assessment of the knowledge and skills of the various recipes based on the chef's experienced kitchen.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ø At least 2 years of work experience as an (independent) chef in (Asian) cuisine

Ø Good knowledge of recipes, ingredients, fresh (Asian) herbs and their (traditional) preparation methods;

Ø You are available full-time and during weekends;

Ø The willingness and ability to adapt or improve our current recipes and preparation methods;

Ø Quality and commercially oriented thinking including HACCP compliance:

Ø You are flexible, stress-resistant during busy hours/periods and can work both independently and in a team.
